Blogs and rss

It seems that blogs as reflective journals are now beginning to be understood in mmu circles. Places where a position can be stated and comments can generate some debate. Also a measure of progress in an independent study. However, we’re still a way from understanding blogs as publishing vehicles that support feed-based subscription and syndication.
Importance of syndication
Syndication is important because it means that I choose where I consume the content – feedreader, pageflakes, netvibes, customised sidebar, webct vista page, grazr. It also means I can mix that content with other content and lever important search mechanisms.
